Flight Attendant Hiring Update - 5/7/13

As of 5/7/2013, there are 35 airlines either hiring flight attendants and/or Inflight Managers or are accepting resumes/applications.

Here are a few of the airlines that are hiring flight attendants/managers or have upcoming Open House Interview(s). Also noted are airlines that have recently hired, but have temporarily closed their application window. These airlines should be monitored closely for hiring status changes. Air Canada Rouge

Air Canada Rouge is currently looking to recruit 150 flight attendants for its July 2013 launch. The first wave of recruitment is now closed. However, you can still submit your résumés for future recruitment drives. The airline is currently interviewing for the inaugural team of Air Canada Rouge flight attendants however they will be hiring throughout the year and candidates are welcome to apply now to be considered for future positions. American has received over 20,000 applications for 1500 flight attendant vacancies. Due to the overwhelming response, American is now only hiring flight attendant applicants with second language proficiency. Languages include Finnish, Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, German, Italian. Interviewing will commence in December for class dates in January and February, 2013. This hiring is due to a recent cash buyout of over 2,000 flight attendants. American is currently in talks with US Airways concerning a possible merger of the two airlines.

Cathay Pacific
